Perm - £95
A perm, short for permanent wave, is a chemical hair treatment that creates curls or waves in the hair that last for an extended period of time. The process involves applying a solution to the hair, typically containing chemicals like ammonium thioglycolate, which breaks down the hair’s natural structure. The hair is then wrapped around rods or rollers to create the desired curl pattern. After a period of time, the solution is rinsed out and a neutralizer is applied to re-form the hair’s structure, locking in the new curl or wave pattern. Perms can be customised to achieve different levels of curliness or wave, and the results can last for several months before the hair returns to its natural state.
